In 1963, in 1963, the Company was founded by Dr. Alvin Roth. Dr. Roth had been a practicing dentist before discovering that his interest in developing dental plastic products led him to create this unique, patent-pending, technology that is currently utilized in the production of all of Quadrant’s advanced engineering plastic components. One of Roth’s many inventions is The discovery of a simple method to increase the length of the material used in many of our parts; he was the first person to use the actual ingredient in nylon, he was responsible for the creation of the composition of nylon powder as well as the process used to make it; and he was the sole designer of the nylon sandwich.
