Of late, you cannot really depend on making lead generation calls to get you the leads. Your agents will be restrained by telecom authorities and you cannot call certain telephone numbers. But that’s not really the roadblock that you have to overcome. It’s the people you are calling who are your actual hurdles. Most of them are not willing to receive any telemarketing calls. They are irritated of being hounded all the time with different offers and discounts. The average handling time, or AHT, is calculated by averaging the average talk time and the not ready time. Not ready time is the amount of time spent dealing with paperwork or data entry after speaking with a customer. Agents are not available to handle calls when they are completing work after a call. The shorter the AHT, the more customers that will be serviced by the call centers agents.

So many supervisors think that they are given authority and don’t understand that authority is EARNED. Authority is earned through TRUST. How does your supervision gain trust?

You can also have an exit popup, or pop-under, that offers them a freebie as they’re leaving your site.
